| We plan to have all of the lakes on this fishery up and running by April 2010! Originally run by ST Neots angling club and a couple of syndicates, Chawston Lakes is set in very peacefull and attractive surroundings and offers the angler superb access to all the swims,no lugging your barrow miles here. A)MEADOW LAKE approx 20 pegs,1 rod...stocked with carp,tench,roach,rudd,bream and crucian carp. Day only. £7.50 Per day. £6.50 FOR OAPs and Juniors. B)ORCHARD LAKE approx 10 pegs,runs water,2 rods...stocked with carp from 8lb to high 20s,crucian carp to 0ver 3lb, tench,bream and rudd. Day only tickets available from monday to thursday,24hrs or more fishing available 7 days a week. £7.50 Per day. £10 Per 24hrs. We advise booking in advance for 24,48 and 72 hr tickets. C)WILLOWS LAKE approx 13 pegs,speciman,3 rods....stocked with ghost carp,mirrors,koi and common carp approaching 30lbs with at least 25 different 20s ,tench to 9lb+ bream to 10lb+ and catfish to mid-20s Syndicate only. The pegs(swims)will be well spaced on lakes 2 and 3,thus giving each angler plenty of water to fish without interferance from other fishermen. Lake A&B will be run on a day ticket basis with 24hrs or more available on lake 2 Lake C will be available on a syndicate ticket for 6 months and then reviewed for a 12 month ticket. | Jared Cooper is doing the business with commons of 26lb(above right),17lb and 13lb plus mirrors of 17lb,16lb 8oz,14lb,all on s2t pinkies over s2t bottoms.Mick Boness had a multiple hit as well with a 20lb mirror,23lb common and 2 doubles on s2t and pine-n-tric pop-ups.Shane Welch took a 22lb mirror(right) and a double on pinkies,while Paul Northwood also had a 20lb+ fish with a 22lb 12oz common(below right) and a 16lb mirror.Gary Westcott and A.Clemence have taken a few doubles recently. Neville Leach took a 20lb 4oz mirror and a 13lb common on s2t,whilst fishing partner Paul Munro caught a pristine 17lb common on the same bait.Karl Williams had a 25lb+ mirror,Paul Hutchinson bank 2 mid-doubles on s2t,however Shane Welch managed to bank 5 up to 18lb 10oz including a near 16lb orange koi,all on Innovate Pine-n-Tric Hairaisers! Gary Westcott had an 8 fish hit including 2x20lb+ mirrors while Shane Welch banked 3 mirrors to 17lb,all the fish fell to a mixture of S-2T and Pine-n-Tric Hairaisers.Steve Gale caught a mid-double common on Pinkies while Paul Northwood managed 3 x stockies. Fish of the month goes to Clemence snr who banked a stunning 25lb 4oz Ghost koi on s-2t. |

| April seems to have carried on from march,with many multiple catches from the syndicate,that man Jared Cooper took another 4 originals to 23lb on s-2t,while Shane Welch continues to do well with another 4 fish to 20lb on pine-n-tric hairaisers,while Clemence senior and Clemence junior took fish of 21lb and 23lb with a few doubles on s-2t.Mr Bowden had a 3 fish hit during a day session the biggest 17lb. Over on the Orchard lake Ant Pearson had a hetic 24hr session banking 21 originals and stockies to 17lb on s-2t and Apocalypse.Rich T was amongst the fish to with 3 doubles on Kriller and a un-named angler took a pb 19lb mirror first chuck. On the Willows Syndicate Shane Welch has taken two stunning carp,a 22lb mirror and a 28lb+ Ghostie,both fish falling to Pine-tric-Hairaisers.Alan Clemence banked a mid-double and son Nathan had a 17lb mirror both on S-2T.Paul Northwood netted another 20lb+ mirror.Steve Gale caught himself a mid-double on Tutti-frutti Hairaisers. Best reported fish from Orchard lake was a 20lb 9oz mirror for Dave and a 14lb 8oz catfish for Jon Angel also visited the bank.All anglers are catching well with 6-8 fish per angler the norm mostly doubles! A short overnighter produced 6 fish upto 19lb for G.Wescott on Orchard lake while Darren Lammey had 5 upto 19lb+ also. Back on Willows Welchy has continued his outstanding run of fish with 6 originals to 19lb+ on Pine-N-Tric Hairaisers.Luke Knibbs broke his duck with a double and a tench on s-2t. |

| Some good size fish hitting the bank on the Willows lake.Stephen Matthews took a stunning 27lb 10oz ghostie while a 27lb+ mirror also visited the weigh sling for another member called Steve who also caught a 18lb mirror on s2t.Father and son Alan and Nathan Clemence had themselves a mirror of 23lb and the white ghost koi at 25lb 10oz on s2t.Paul Munro had a mid-double on Hairaisers. On the Orchard lake Steve Slater fished a quick overnighter before work and banked 7 fish to 20lb on Pine-N-Tric hairaisers,Gary Wescott took 5 fish to 17lb on Tutti Hairaisers.Welchy fancied a change from Willows and managed 11 fish to 19lb 12oz on Squid-2t. The fish have been spawning well at the fishery,however plenty are being caught.On the Willows Nathan Clemence had yet another 20lber on S-2T,Luke Knibbs took 3 upper doubles on s-2t,G.Wescott had 2 upto 18lb,Paul Northwood caught 4 on a overnighter,most members are catching.Over on Orchard lake one angler took a fine brace of 20s with all anglers catching fish ranging from 10lb to 20lb+. The Meadows lake is now available to fish with the first visitor having 35 carp in a few hours before the sun got the best of him! Multiple hits all the way on the willows syndicate.Rich T took 7 to 20lb+,Shane Welch had 5 to 20lb+ on hairaisers,Gary Wescott 6 to 20lb+ on S-2T and Nathan Clemence took 5 to 18lb plus 2 tench to 7lb 9oz on S-2T. On the Orchard lake Kev Jeffries banked over 25 carp to upper doubles on S-2T,while other anglers are also picking up plenty of fish on a selection of baits! The Meadow lake is producing a fish a chuck to most anglers mostly carp,roach and rudd with maggots,meat and corn doing the job. Steve Slater fished an overnighter on Willows and banked 7 carp including three 20s and a 7lb tench on s2t 18mm baits,while Shane Welch took 3 fish to 18lb also on s2t bottoms. Rich T is on a roll with a new PB of 24lb+ from the willows,Luke Knibbs had another double while Mark Simmonds took 4 doubles and big bream,estimated to be a double after it performed the great escape before Mark could weigh it.Mick Boness also landed yet another 20+. Over on Orchard plenty of fish are visiting the bank while on Meadow the fishing is hetic to say the least,with carp to 17lb,bream to 7lb+,tench to 3lb+ and plenty of good size roach. Plenty of good fish visiting the bank on the Willows,Gary Wescott took 5 upto 24lb on s2t,Steve Slater had 2 carp including a 23lb ghost and a 8lb+ tench on s2t,Paul Munro had 5 upto 19lb on hairaisers,Nev had a couple of doubles,Alan Clemence had a couple of doubles and a 9lb 10oz bream while Nathan Clemence banked a couple of doubles as well,Paul Northwood also landed a couple of stunners. July has produced plenty of fish for syndicate members,although the biggies are being elusive new member Anthony Davis managed a 22lb and an 18lber on his first visit,Kev Jeffries also a new member banked 8 including a 23lb catfish,Rich t managed 7 upto 20lb in one session,all the above fish falling to S-2T. Members Shane Welch,Paul Munro,Luke Knibbs,the Clemence boys,Nev are all catching on a regular basis! Big bream are also showing with Mark Simmonds beating his PB with a fish nudging 9lb and another member taking a 9lb+ brace! There is fantastic sport to be had on Meadow lake with carp to 23lb,bream to 8lb,rudd to 2lb 8oz and plenty of roach.Corn,pellet,maggot and bread will catch you fish all day! The 20s are starting to hit the bank after hiding for a couple of weeks,on Willows that man Kev Jeffries had another multiple hit with 6 fish to 26lb all on s2t bottoms,Mick Boness had a couple including another 20 on Pinkies,most anglers are taking some good fish. No 20s from Orchard recently however anglers who put the work in are catching a few fish to upper doubles. Best method on this lake is to fish to the over hanging trees near and far bank and dont be afraid to put the bait in.Meadow is producing loads of fish as usual. Graham Jameson has had an outstanding couple of session s on Orchard,taking carp and a few tench,however the biggest surprise were Crucians of 3lb 12oz and 2lb 12oz Anglers are now averaging 5 to 6 carp from Orchard,with bream,tench and crucians also hitting the bank fishing is really on the up! |

| Chawston Lakes------Willows Stocking | |
| On the 29th January 2010 Innovate Fisheries started its stocking programme on the Willows Lake. We have added 35 stunning carp all doubles up to 14lb+ to compliment the original stock of approx 60 fish. There are plans to add a further 20 to 30 carp to the Willows in February and as the photos show these mirrors and commons are outstanding fish of the highest quality,we understand from our supplier that these carp will average between 4 and 5LBs growth per year and as Willows will not be over stocked the potential for these fish is very exciting! The original stock consists of mirrors and commons weighing up to 27LB+,we also believe there to be a ghostie that has gone 28LB.Willows has not been targeted properly for sometime so we are confident that with a good supply of anglers bait there may well be 30s visiting the bank in 2010! We will also be moving several 20s from Meadow lake into Willows in due course. |

| On the 29th January Innovate Fisheries also stocked 140 beautifull carp in the Orchard Lake.These fish range from 7LB to 9LB and again will compliment the originals,there are plans for a further 100 mirrors and commons to be stocked in February! Although classed as our runs water we expect a good head of 20s to be present in due course.There is no doubt that Orchard will be providing some exciting and outstanding sport. |
